About Us
The Department of Quality Assurance and Data Management was first established as a unit in 2020, with Dr. John Wayong’o as the founding head. In June 2024, it was upgraded to a full Department.
The department is located at the Green Tuition Block (upon entry into the building through the main entrance, turn left into the first office, opposite the ICT department).
For Bomet University to realise its vision of a premier Green University fostering research excellence in science, technology, and innovation for sustainability, the best comparable standards are required. Towards this, the Department is responsible for developing and maintaining the quality and standards of the University’s academic programmes. In addition, the department serves as a link between the institution and Quality Assurance regulatory bodies.
