The Careers Advisory Department at Bomet University is committed to empowering students and graduates to make informed career decisions, develop essential employability skills and successfully transition from university to the world of work.

The Department provides career guidance and counselling, supports students in identifying their interests, strengths, and professional aspirations and equips them with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate an increasingly competitive job market. Through career development programmes, mentorship, Curriculum Vitae (CV) and résumé writing, interview preparation, job search guidance and engagement with employers and industry partners, we purpose to help students prepare for meaningful and rewarding careers.

We also facilitate opportunities for internships, industrial attachments, career fairs, networking and professional development to strengthen the connection between academic learning and workplace expectations. Our services extend to supporting graduates as they explore employment, entrepreneurship and further professional development opportunities.
