Bomet University led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Charles Mutai, today welcomed a delegation from the National Defence University of Kenya (NDU-K), led by its Vice-Chancellor, Lieutenant General David K. C. Tarus, MGH, CBS, ‘ndc’(K), ‘cgsc’(USA), ‘psc’(K).
The delegation toured the University before Lieutenant General Tarus delivered a thought-provoking public lecture on “Youth, Education and National Security in a Changing World.”
The lecture highlighted the power of education in shaping informed, responsible and resilient young people capable of contributing to national development and security in an ever-changing world.
The visit strengthened the bond between the two institutions and opened new opportunities for knowledge exchange, partnership and collaboration in the shared pursuit of a stronger and more secure nation.
